What to Expect
Before scheduling your first appointment we ask that you give us a call to make sure to make sure we are an appropriate choice for your mental health needs and that we can accommodate your schedule, visit preferences, and insurance or payment options.
Once you have registered with us, completed your paperwork and we have verified that we take your insurance, we can schedule your first appointment either online or by phone or text. With an online account we also offer secure messaging that will allow you to address any concerns privately before your scheduled appointment.
Paperwork
We require that all paperwork be accomplished before your first appointment is scheduled. We will email you a link to our portal to complete the required paperwork before you schedule your first appointment. If you are unable to complete your intake paperwork online please let us know so we can make other arrangements.
Telehealth
We offer telehealth through a HIPAA compliant platform for your protection. This program can be run from any computer with a webcam and microphone or from your smartphone or tablet. If you are using your smartphone it requires an App to be installed. To install the App please click on the link to your appointment and grant the permissions it asks for. We ask for you to install the App prior to your first appointment. This will allow time to ensure everything works and will not waste valuable session time. Also, please make every effort to use Wi-Fi on your phone and stay within range of the signal. The better the signal the more you will get from your session. We have also found headphones to be a big help to ensure your privacy during your session.
Minors
If we are seeing a minor at the office, we ask that you stay in either our waiting room or your car in our parking lot. Please remain available in case your child needs you during their appointment time.
If we are seeing a minor via telehealth, we ask that they be at home, and have complete privacy for their session. We have found that sessions are most productive if they are uninterrupted by friends, family, or chores.
Hours/After Hours
Our office hours are 12:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday by appointment only. We do not offer any afterhours or emergency services. If you have an emergency, please call 911 or the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255. Any messages left during non-business hours will be returned within 3 business days.
Insurance
We can take many different types of insurance to help pay for your appointments. However, you are responsible for any copays, cancellation fees, and any charges that your insurance company does not pay.
Payment
Payment is due at time of service. If you are seeing a therapist via telehealth, we require a card to be kept on file, which will be charged the day of the appointment. For our in-person clients we offer payment by cash or card. We do require a card be kept on file however to cover no show/cancelation fees. If you need to make other arrangements, please let us know ahead of time.
Scheduling
To accommodate school and work schedules we offer evening appointments as well as recurring appointments to our clients. If you would like to schedule multiple appointments or be seen at the same time every week, we will do our best to accommodate you.
Cancellation/No Show Policy
While we understand that life happens and sometimes you cannot make a scheduled appointment, these incidents do affect other clients and our business. We ask that you give us as much notice as possible when canceling a scheduled appointment. Any no show or cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment time will be considered a late cancellation and subject to cancellation fees. You can cancel your appointment over the phone, by text, email or from the client portal on our website.
To best accommodate our clients, we have a 3 Strike cancellation/no show policy. The first late cancellation/no show will result in the loss of any future appointment times you have scheduled. The second late cancellation/no show will result in the loss of scheduling high popularity appointment times. After the third late cancellation/no show you will be discharged from Limitless Growth Counseling.
We also have a First Appointment cancellation/no show policy. By missing your first appointment you have potentially caused another new client to be put on a waiting list. Therefore, any late cancellation/no show will result in you being added to the back of the waiting list and you will be required to pay in advance for your next appointment at the time of rescheduling.
